[K10 - Coruschal - NR3F] Factory Raid

It had been two weeks since Operation Industrial began on Coruschal. Working alongside the Coruschal Security Force, Ghost Squadron had made steady progress clearing gang-controlled districts throughout the industrial capital. Several neighborhoods had been brought back under New Republic control, and with the streets secured attention turned toward the infrastructure that had been fueling the conflict.

Today's objective was one of Coruschal WeaponWorks manufacturing factories located in one of the recently reclaimed districts. Intelligence indicated the facility had been producing blasters and munitions for the local gangs, making it a priority target before production could resume under another criminal faction.

Ghost Squadron breached the factory's blast doors and entered the receiving area expecting resistance. Instead, they found a handful of workers who quickly laid down their tools and surrendered. Within minutes, the facility had been secured without a shot being fired.

"Who's in charge here?" Axton asked the factory foreman.

"Depends on who's winning," he replied. "One gang takes over, then another pushes them out a few weeks later. We just keep the machines running."

"Someone has to be paying you."

"The credits always come from the same place," the foreman answered. "A man who goes by AK. Never met him, but nobody asks questions."

With the factory secured, Coruschal Security Force personnel began cataloging weapons and inventory while New Republic engineers inspected the production lines. Before long, plans were already being made to return the facility to lawful production in support of Operation Industrial and the New Republic.

Axton looked across the spotless factory floor before turning to the security captain.

"Hard to believe this place is in such good shape," he said. "Outside looks like it's been through a war, but in here everything still works."

"The gangs fought over these factories for a reason. You can rebuild a neighborhood later. You can't win a war without someone making the weapons."

Ghost Squadron had reclaimed another district's most valuable asset. It was one more factory out of criminal hands and another step toward restoring Coruschal.
