It had been several weeks since Operation Industrial began on Coruschal. With the New Republic and Coruschal Security Force continuing to clear districts across the industrial capital, the gangs that once controlled much of the city were beginning to lose their grip. Many had started fleeing the planet, while those who were captured were being transported to the prison facilities on Ord Vaxal.
With the fighting finally starting to slow down and power restored, the New Republic could begin focusing more of its efforts on the citizens who had been caught in the middle of the conflict for years. Temporary relief stations were established throughout recently secured districts, providing food, medical supplies, and other necessities to citizens who had gone without them for far too long.
Among the volunteers was Brina Harp, now traveling with her new master, Elder Valor Sol. Not long ago, Brina had been a prisoner of the New Republic. Now she was helping feed the same people the Republic had come to protect.
For the citizens of Coruschal, the relief station was a small but important sign that things were finally changing. The fighting that had defined their lives for years was beginning to fade, and help was arriving from worlds across the New Republic. There was still a long way to go, but for the first time since Operation Industrial began Coruschal was starting to look toward the future instead of simply trying to survive.
