[N13 - Chardaan - NR3F] Cleared for Production

Chardaan Orbital Shipyards

The Novaldex Ion Engine Nacelle has successfully completed its testing cycle and is now cleared for full-scale production. With the New Republic's Fleet Development Initiative in full swing, engineers across Chardaan continue working around the clock to keep the next generation of A-wings moving down the production line.

"Diagnostics are green across the board," said the Mon Cala engineer as the engine was guided onto the transport sled. "Notify Assembly Bay Three they're receiving another nacelle."

The human technician glanced over the final test results before nodding. "Looks good. They should have this one mounted on an interceptor before the end of the shift."

As the sled drifted toward the assembly platform, the technician looked over his shoulder.

"Has anyone checked on the Gonk droid?"

The Mon Cala sighed. "He's still standing at the window."

"...Why?"

"He seems convinced he was meant to be a fish instead of a power droid."

"Should we be concerned?"

The Mon Cala shrugged. "As long as he keeps charging equipment, I don't think it matters."
