Preedo Ven Gree was born on Ord Vaxal during the final years of the Republic and spent decades painting murals throughout Tof Soren. Despite the hardships of the Imperial era, he never abandoned his passion for art. His abstract style often reflected the uncertainty of life under Imperial rule.
Following the New Republic's restoration of Ord Vaxal, Preedo Ven Gree unveiled one of his most recognizable works in the capital, celebrating the hope and renewal that had finally come to the planet.
While much of Ord Vaxal's infrastructure was built during a darker time in galactic history, the New Republic has worked to give these facilities a new purpose. Hope in Color has since become a symbol of that transformation, representing the planet's shift from a world defined by imprisonment and war into one focused on rebuilding.

As the final build for Ord Vaxal I wanted to do something more lighthearted and felt inspired by “Large abstract art oft decorates the flat faces of buildings” in the planet file.
