There were so many scorched, half-abandoned extractor rigs dotting the surface of Sarapin that it wasn't hard for the strike unit to find one to commandeer. After slotting in some new terminal electronics, the machinery was soon churning, and filling tank after tank of rhydonium. Why the Empire couldn't just buy this rhydonium on the open market, the unit couldn't say. It must be meant for a covert use. They knew better than to ask too many questions, and the sooner they were finished and out of this hellscape, the better.

This build was centred on the baseplate, which comes from the Blacktron II set 6988 Alpha Centauri Outpost, which I got for Christmas in 1991.

Labelled version:

To me, the base is a really nice part usage 😊

Where else does it fit if not here on Sarapin?

I like the rails for the extractor support and all the different tubes and pipes connected to the tanks. The lighted mineral reservoir is another ~~cool~~ hot detail.

The TIE cockpit glass on top of the grating feels somewhat off, but that's a minor issue for me.

The workers are looking good and unique too. Only thing I'm missing is a visor of some kind.

Overall, with the base, the build probably sells bigger than it was from effort point of view, but it still has that coherent industrial look you do really well. The labelled version is another enjoyable detail of your presentation.
