The Red Moons’ “Bloodwing” snubfighter began life as a standard Cumulus-Class Snubfighter, but years of hit‑and‑fade warfare turned it into something far more feral. Stripped of nonessential armor and rebuilt with scavenged Mandalorian shock‑baffles, the Bloodwing carries an overclocked engine array that burns hotter than manufacturer safety regs ever allowed, leaving a signature crimson ion trail that became the starfighter's calling card. Its pilot, Kessa Varrin, a former agricultural surveyor turned insurgent ace, customized the cockpit with a low‑profile targeting hood and a dual‑mode control yoke that lets her switch between precision dogfighting and brutal atmospheric skimming. The Red Moons also modified the winglets to cant downward for a more aggressive profile and greater precision during atmospheric maneuvers. And of course, the cell's customizations would not have been complete without a brutalist custom red paint job, too.
