REBEL ALLIANCE – FIELD REPORT

Subject: Seizure of Rhydonium Shipment

Operation proceeded as planned. Acting on contracted intelligence allegedly sourced from New Republic channels, we intercepted and secured a shipment of high-grade Rhydonium contained in multiple irregular cargo crates.

The informant—a masked mercenary of unknown affiliation—claimed the information was obtained via an open New Republic contract offering compensation for actionable intel. Subject demonstrated prior knowledge of the shipment’s route and timing. Reliability assessed as high, motives unclear.

One Imperial officer was detained on-site. Subject displayed resistance and issued verbal threats. Currently held under guard for potential interrogation or exchange.

During post-seizure discussions, the informant declined standard credit compensation. Instead, they proposed the unrecorded loss of one Rhydonium crate as payment. Given the volume of the recovered shipment and the value of continued access to such intelligence, I deemed the arrangement acceptable.

One crate has been marked as “missing” in the official inventory.

Remaining cargo secured and awaiting further instruction.

Recommendation:
Maintain provisional cooperation with informant. Exercise caution—subject operates opportunistically and may be leveraging both sides.
