The Reytha spaceport moved with its usual rhythm in the the middle of harvest season. Production hadn’t slowed at all despite the Imperial sabotage and field burnings.

Cargo haulers idled on the landing pad as crews loaded crates in steady lines. Grain poured through the silo systems in a constant hum, and the security tower scanned the horizon out of habit more than concern. It was just another day on Reytha, quiet, fragile, and waiting to be shattered.

Inside the workers’ cantina, Brina Harp sat across from her husband, sharing a quiet meal among the noise of the bustling spaceport.

He gave a small smile, glancing out toward the landing pad.
“Once this shipment’s out,” he said, “things might finally settle down around here.”

Brina returned the look, calm and unreadable.

“Yeah,” she said softly. “Right on time.”

Her hand moved subtle, deliberate. A button pressed beneath the table.

High above, a sniper shifted into position atop the security tower.

A single shot cracked through the air.

A worker on the loading dock dropped.

For half a heartbeat, the spaceport froze.

Then the landing pad erupted in flame.

Rhydonium ignited beneath the cargo, sending fire and debris tearing through the crates. Shockwaves rippled outward as alarms screamed to life. Workers scattered in every direction, shouting, stumbling, running. Stormtroopers emerged from hidingwithin cargo stacks, behind equipment, inside the very structures of the port. Blaster fire cut through the chaos as they pushed forward, seizing control. Within moments, the security tower fell silent under Imperial control.

In the middle of the chaos, her husband turned back to her, eyes wide and confusion giving way to realization.

“…Brina…?”

No fear. No hesitation.

“I’m sorry,” she said—without meaning it.

The blaster fired once.

He fell where he stood.

“Listen carefully,” she called out, her voice cutting clean through the chaos.
“You will cooperate fully.”

She gestured toward the silo looming over the port.

“Or the next explosion won’t be a warning.”

But Ghost Squadron had already arrived. Using the chaos as cover, they moved silently, precisely retaking the tower and eliminating every stormtrooper inside. On the ground, the tide turned just as quickly. Stormtroopers were cut down where they stood. The port, what remained of it, was reclaimed.

Brina survived, but not by choice.
She was dragged from the spaceport in binders, watching the burning spaceport and all of her dreams of a different life fade away.

Bonus Build
I joined after the end of the Canto Bright classic tournament but really liked this challenge and wanted to make a small casino room on top of the workers cantina.

You managed a very distinctive look for your busy agricultural hub. I really enjoy the Reytha vibes here. The mix of different building types with the silo, the watchtower and the rural-aesthetics-cantina, work very well. I like the details like the backside of the silo with the grain inside, the droid cargo sledge and the different crates.

Above all, the story flows well through your scene, especially the sniper shot is really cool.

Your Sabacc table is fun too. These are definitely cool cards you have! I appreciate you like the Canto Bight Tournament - that was a matter of heart of mine. Pity you couldn't participate, but still managed to include that bonus in this one.
