[Q15 - Ando - PK] TIE/CAS ‘Condor’

Recently developed by Sienar Fleet Systems, the TIE/CAS was optimised to project maximum firepower, for a minimal cost. As the Condor only used half the area of solar collecter as the TIE/LN, it had a much shorter range, but was also significantly cheaper. Armed with twin cockpit mounted laser cannons, wing-root mounted auto cannons and dual missile launchers, it could effectively engage heavy and lightly armoured enemies on the ground, supporting imperial forces. As the experimental phase continues further weapons options are being explored, as well as the Condor’s expected utility for effectively engaging corvettes and frigates in space. This experimental version pictured has been deployed to Ando to provide support for imperial forces against the New Republic.
