The Pirate Hunter
The Archer-Class Starfighter

The Archer-class Starfighter was a rugged Corellian design used by everyone from planetary defense forces and Rebel cells to smugglers and mercenaries. Known for its simple construction and heavy armament, it appealed to pilots who valued power over versatility, though it never became especially common as most preferred more adaptable starfighters. A recently arrived squadron joined ARGO Industries' growing coalition of independent systems, flown by former Revenant pirates who had abandoned their criminal pasts to become guns for hire specializing in hunting pirate threats. While lacking the maneuverability of lighter fighters, the Archer combined impressive speed with enough raw power to carry significantly heavier weapons than most starfighters of its class.

The War on Piracy
As piracy and organized crime continued to plague the region, many grew frustrated by the New Republic's inability—or unwillingness—to provide meaningful security beyond the major trade corridors. In response, various mercenary companies, local defense forces, and law-enforcement agencies increasingly aligned themselves with ARGO Industries, drawn by its commitment to protecting trade, infrastructure, and civilian communities. What began as isolated security agreements gradually evolved into a broader network of cooperation, with many groups contributing personnel, expertise, and even equipment—including manned starfighters—to ARGO’s growing security fleet. Together, they were united by a common goal: restoring order where official authorities had failed to do so.

Another starfighter from my inspiration backlog. I thought this starfighter would fit well as an older model refurbished and re-enlisted into ARGO's security fleet. See more photos below.
