After meeting the New Republic agent on Socorro, Pria cuts short her stay on the frontier world and returns to the headquarters of the Flame of Zhar. With her she carries a data disc - compromising material the agent handed over as both a favor and an investment into her loyalty. Its contents raised far too many questions for the Lady of the Flame - especially toward one of her most trusted counselors...
Welcome to the 19th chapter of Flame and Ashes. For me a very special and emotional episode with Toothpick finally being caught for his scheming. But as usual, everything comes with a price...
I'm especially happy how the forced perspective look out of the window worked - something Lego415 "pioneered" in one of his latest FZ installements.
