On the rolling plains of Alland, water is a scarce resource. Moisture vaporators dot the landscape, connected to underground duracrete reservoirs that protect the precious liquid from evaporation.

These temperamental devices seem to always be breaking down in one way or another. Buhawr, his face twisted with concentration, has already opened the tool pannier on his swoop and is checking the readouts. While older vaporators often require the assistance of a droid fluent in binary to read their fault codes, Buhawr upgraded his to show the codes in Basic. This way, he can avoid hauling a droid around with him on his rounds, saving wear on the landspeeder.

The underground cistern is only partially full - not nearly enough to justify bringing the ute out with tanks to collect. When the water level reaches a certain point, he'll come back out and gather it to sell in town.
