[LTC - R16 - Trask - AI] SoF - 06 - Path of Water

Twilight settles over the harbor and wharfs of a seaborne settlement on Trask. The gas giant Kol Iben casts its vast shadow across the water moon. Aquatic workers finish their shifts, pack up their gear, and drift toward the taverns - ready to spend their hard‑earned flan in the humid glow of harbor inns...

The Comic

Trivia

Trask, a water moon of the gas giant Kol Iben, has been introduced in The Mandalorian Season 2. I really liked the setting in the show and now I finally managed to build a maritime diorama of a Trask wharf. The entry is for Argo Industries, but I also took the opportunity to include a Flame of Zhar character, the Devaronian Mr. Hals, who already had some exchanges with Argo on the RPG server. Thanks to Darth Bjorn for some great suggestions and inspiration for this entry.

I reused the lighting kit that illuminated the Savareena hangar. It was a bit tricky to illuminate the wharf and the buoys, but I'm really happy with the result.

The pub Captain's Daughter is a reference to my favorite PoC movie - On Stranger Tide and the Togruta bouncer with heavy make-up is inspired by Pirates of the Carribbean characters, e.g. the dames on Tortuga.

Last, but not least, I decided  the comic to be part of the Sands of Fortune arc, even though it plays on Trask and not on Tatooine. Trask is just a sublight haul away from the desert world (which doesn't make sense if we think of interstellar distances in real life, but hey, it's Star Wars) and who knows if the events on Trask are not soemhow connected with what goes on on Tatooine...
