The wastes of Vandor stretch for kilometers beneath an unforgiving sky. There is little here to suggest that the barren world ever held anything of importance, let alone something worthy of the Emperor's attention. Yet according to intelligence recovered from the Imperial archives, somewhere beneath these wastes lies evidence of one of the ancient sites connected to ███████ ███████.
Wraith Squad moves cautiously across the terrain, accompanied by probe droids. Their orders are deliberately vague: locate unusual geological formations, ancient structures, or signs of previous Imperial activity. They have not been told exactly what they are searching for. Even the soldiers have been instructed to avoid discussing the operation over open communications.
As the squad advances deeper into the wastes, one of their probes begins registering an unusual reading beneath the surface. The signal is faint and inconsistent, but it is enough to bring the patrol to a halt. Whatever lies beneath Vandor may have been hidden for centuries, or deliberately concealed by the Empire itself.
