Protectorate engineers arrive at the coordinates identified by Major Anred, with the correct equipment. Wraith Squad and others secure the surrounding area while engineers begin clearing the snow and rock covering the structure. The work is slow, revealing only small sections of the installation at a time.

A massive door stands exposed against the frozen rock, its surface scarred by age but otherwise intact… the architecture unmistakably Imperial.

But there are no markings identifying the facility, and there is no evidence of a conventional garrison or military installation. Whatever this place was built for, it was designed to remain hidden from anyone who might pass through the surrounding wastes.

Anred studies the entrance alongside the intelligence team. The records that brought them here provided almost no information beyond that Emperor Palpatine may have had a hidden storehouse somewhere on the world.

Whatever is behind those doors has remained untouched since the Empire’s fracture.

There is no indication that anyone has attempted to enter the facility since it was sealed.

The next step will be to open it.
