A Loronar Torpedo Sphere had 120 DER targeting rooms, each with the controls for 4 torpedo tubes. Leaving any one of these crewed and operational could be disastrous for the Protectorate forces, even if the Bridge was taken. Thus, SpecNav troops split into small teams to secure each and every one of them, while the Stormtroopers carried on to the engineering levels.

Pirates did not offer quite as much resistance as rebels or professional soldiers, but it was still taking longer than anticipated to clear all the targeting rooms.

A bit more than a quarter of a DER targeting room, part limitations constrained the size of this build but the shaping turned out pretty well.
