Years ago, Varek lost both legs during a disastrous campaign on the Rim. Rather than accept death, he rebuilt himself with powerful cybernetic limbs, granting him speed and agility few opponents can match. His mechanical legs allow him to launch devastating lunges, spinning shield strikes, and acrobatic attacks that make him far deadlier than his heavy armor suggests.

Entering the Ring of Champions was never about glory. Every victory earns enough credits to purchase better cybernetics, finer equipment, and another chance to survive. Over dozens of pit fights, the crowds began calling him Goldfang, inspired by the gold-plated trim on his armor and the savage precision with which he finishes every duel.

Unlike many gladiators who rely on oversized weapons or brute strength, Goldfang fights with relentless discipline.
