Many smaller Imperial remnants had joined the Protectorate of Kalarba since its inception, but not all of them received the widespread recognition of the 9th Fleet or Commodore Orkzyd’s group. Some of them, like the Seltos Rangers were simply small bands of mercenaries who would be integrated into various garrisons across the Hevvrol sector. The Seltos Rangers were assigned to the garrison on Glom Tho, and quickly took up hunting to pass the time. Eventually they moved on to combat sports, making their arena debut at the Boonta Gauntlet.
