As the fleet exited the hyperlane Captain Birc Rena blew a sigh of relief. The situation at Gyndine had been tense, and he had feared the worst, but the space above Sarapin looked promisingly calm. "Send a detachment of fighters ahead, we need to be ready."

The small escort fleet had arrived at Sarapin as a part of operation Emberfall, escorting multiple transports carrying Rhydonium to Reytha, including one large cannister which made the Captain nervous, "we need to make sure there are no enemies nearby before the payload arrives." Four Tie/ln Fighters and the Tie/rb Heavy flew ahead to scout the space ahead for potential issues.

The ships in the fleet was carefully selected to ensure the fleet could remain relatively unnoticed, and that any resistance wouldn't be able to send for reinforcements.
