[LTC - M17 - Darkknell - FZ] Law & Order: Darkknell - Part Two

A long night turned into an even longer day. I went over the crime scene with a comb and analyzed the data six ways from jarsday. My gut said that something didn't add up. But my gut doesn't file the paperwork so I called in the most likely suspect.

"You were at the scene of the crime the night in question?" I asked.

"That's right, but you knows it wasn't me Castellan" she retorted.

"Pretend I know nothing" I replied. "I know you were there, make me believe it wasn't you know offed the judge."

"Yeah, I was there" she finally bit off, "but not when the droid was dismembered. And you know who I was with right after. My alibi is air-tight."

"Nevertheless" I said, "The Flame is probably going to take the heat for this one. You should probably skip town."

Ever one to pick at the 3 day difference in age between the two of us she paused on her way out of the bureau to turn and say, "here's looking at you kid."

This investigation was going nowhere fast. Looks like it was me and a cup of caf for the foreseeable future.
