The Ember District of Tirac Munda erupts into chaos following the assassination of a prominent Rodian clan leader during the Conclave of Chains. Within hours, entire neighborhoods descend into violence as Rodian gangs and sympathizers take to the streets demanding vengeance. Municipal police attempt to establish cordons around key intersections and transit hubs, but their numbers are insufficient for the scale of the unrest.

As the riots intensify, rival communities become targets. Pyke-owned businesses are looted and burned. Suspected rivals are dragged from homes and storefronts. Armed gangs seize control of major thoroughfares while frightened civilians barricade themselves inside apartment blocks and worker tenements.
The local constabulary finds itself overwhelmed. Emergency calls flood dispatch centers faster than officers can respond. Entire patrols disappear from communication networks. By nightfall, law and order in the district hang by a thread.

The crisis reaches its peak when rioters converge on Sector House Aurek, the primary municipal police station serving the district. Officers barricade entrances and attempt to hold their position, but the building is isolated. Reinforcements never arrive.

The mob breaks through the perimeter after hours of sustained attacks. Records are destroyed, detention cells are opened, and police vehicles are set ablaze. Surviving officers retreat through emergency exits while gang leaders proclaim victory from the station's rooftop.
For the first time in decades, an entire district of Tirac Munda falls beyond the control of any authority.
The planetary "government" issues desperate requests for assistance. With municipal law enforcement effectively defeated, responsibility for restoring order shifts begrudgingly to the Protectorate of Kalarba.

Before dawn, armored transports bearing the insignia of the Protectorate enter the Ember District. Security Patrol units establish checkpoints at major intersections while Kalarba Security Apparatus agents begin identifying gang leaders and riot organizers. Unlike the exhausted municipal police, the Protectorate arrives with manpower, equipment, and a clear objective: reclaim the district.

Street by street, Security Patrol forces push into the riot zone. Barricades are dismantled. Weapon caches are seized. Armed gangs attempting to hold territory are driven back or arrested.

The recaptured Sector House Aurek becomes the centerpiece of the operation, transformed into a temporary command post as Protectorate officers coordinate the restoration of public order.

By the end of the operation, the riots had broken. The municipal police remain, but it is clear to everyone who restored control. As Protectorate banners rise over checkpoints and security patrols become a permanent sight in the streets, many citizens begin to wonder whether the intervention was temporary assistance or the beginning of a much larger Protectorate presence on Tirac Munda.
