“Some of my favorite people are bounty hunters.”

Greef Karga

Welcome to the Bounty Hunters´Guild, the home of Bounty Hunter missions, and a shadowy den where hunters hang around, waiting for ‘that one job’ that will earn them fame and fortune. Here you’ll find active bounties waiting to be redeemed, claimed bounties serving as tribute and reputation to esteemed Bounty Hunters, and finally the Bounty Hunter ladder – ranking only the best hunters of the trade.

Bounty Hunting Rules

At any time you can pursue a bounty by posting Bounty Missions.
  • Post one build showing your bounty hunter pursuing their quarry on the described system.
    • If your post scores above the bounty’s listed Rating, you may proceed to your second build. The Rating is the number your build score must match or exceed to have succeeded.
  • In order to capture your quarry, post another build showing your bounty hunter engaging or capturing the target.
    • If that build also scores above the Rating, you have successfully completed the Bounty Mission.
    • You can post both builds at the same time if you wish, but if either build scores under the Rating, they will not be counted.
  • Do not mark your build as eligible for IP, when doing the submittal form, unless the system of the Bounty Mission is accessible to your faction.
  • All information about the target is included in the Bounty Posting. Anything not specified is up to you. Whoever succeeds in completing the bounty mission will have their name and builds permanently put up on the bounty hunter rankings, and their interpretation of the target will become canon.
  • When posting a bounty hunt, include [Bounty] in the title of your topic and Bounty in the tags, and link your post in the replies below.

There are two types of Bounty missions: Exclusive Bounties, and Competitive Bounties.

Exclusive Bounties

Exclusive bounties were official guild-curated bounties, with the quarry identified in an individual holopuck, used alongside a tracking fob.

  • Exclusive Bounty Hunting is a single-player Bounty Hunting experience. Exclusive Bounties have higher Score requirements than Competitive Bounties.
  • An exclusive bounty can only be picked up by one bounty hunter. In order to pick up a listed bounty, you must write the following agreement in the comments below [username – quarry name – accepted]. First come first serve.
  • If you do not post your first bounty build within 1 month from the date you claimed it, you lose privileges to that bounty and it goes back on the board. If you have reneged on a bounty contract, you cannot claim that contract again. You can hold only one Exclusive Bounty contract at a time.
  • If your first Build does not exceed the Bounty’s Rating, you forfeit the contract, it returns to the board, and you cannot claim it again. Time and effort pay off for these high profile contracts.
  • If you successfully complete the contract (IE, score above the Bounty’s Rating with both your builds) then any XP you earn can be reassigned by your Faction Leader as IP on any accessible system.

Competitive Bounties

Competitive bounties were unofficial bounties of high risk quarries or clandestine targets. These bounties did not have holopucks, and could be picked up by multiple bounty hunters.

  • Competitive Bounty Hunting is a high-stakes, high-reward bounty hunting system that pits you against other players.
  • Two bounty hunters may chose to collaborate in completing competitive bounties. The two collaborators may post two builds in each entry. Any rewards must be split between the two collaborators.
  • If you successfully capture the bounty (IE, score above the Rating on both your entries before another player does) your Faction Leader can reassign all XP earned by your posts as IP on any system accessible to your faction. If you do not claim the bounty, your builds do not gain any IP (unless they were built on an accessible system).

(!!!) The Bounty System will develop and change over time as hunters take down targets and provide useful data. Feel free to offer feedback.
