The Followers of the Force are a loose collection of groups and individuals united in their adherence to the will of the Force. The Followers aim to help others lead normal, free, and peaceful lives. Although they generally prefer peaceful measures, such as disaster relief, accepting refugees, and running underground aid to those living under oppression, some radical members will occasionally take more direct methods…
History
Untold numbers of individuals have followed the Force through various traditions for countless generations. But the Followers of the Force trace their current lineage to the war-torn planet of Batuu, where ordinary citizens united to protect each other — first from the oppression of the Empire, then from the predations of various criminal and corporate gangs.
Organization and Operation
After establishing themselves on Batuu, the Followers have begun reaching across the galaxy to find and unite like-minded individuals. Operating in loosely connected cells, the Followers frequently work quietly and secretly to establish small bases of operation from which to conduct relief missions, smuggling supplies in and refugees out. Although some planets may decide to declare openly their cooperation with the Followers, more frequently the faction works in the shadows, trying to make a better life for those who have been overlooked by the rest of the Galaxy.
